Have you ever heard when people saying “I agree to disagree”?

I am sure that you will think that sentence is quite unique and use contradictory terms together. what does it mean? you agree or disagree?

When you found a sentence which contradict each other, it’s called Oxymoron. According to Oxford Dictionary, Oxymoron is a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction (e.g. faith unfaithful kept him falsely true). I personally see people use the oxymoron to call attention in their writing, when you read a novel or an article, then you found an oxymoron, you will go back and think why the author use that words. Am I right?

there are a lot of examples of Oxymoron such as:

  • bitter sweet
  • pretty ugly
  • found missing
  • alone together
  • living dead
  • original copy

at last, oxymoron is totally unique and seriously funny !
